Job Description : Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery to assist in the construction, excavation, and transportation of materials on job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Duties :

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, scrapers, and other equipment as required.
• Clear, level, and prepare job sites for construction or development projects.
• Excavate, load, move, and distribute earth, gravel, rock, or other materials safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols, conducting pre-operation checks and reporting any equipment malfunctions or hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with supervisors, site managers, and other team members to ensure tasks are completed according to plans and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.
