The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties and works closely with a remote HR Manager to create a cohesive, positive & successful working environment.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas : aide with employee relations, training, performance management, recruitment, on boarding, and employment law compliance.
Essential Functions
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures;
prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
- Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, guides the interview / hiring process from beginning to end.
- Conducts new-employee orientations, oversees on-boarding and new hire training schedule.
- Handles on site employee relations counseling with the support of the HR Manager; coaches, counsels, and mentors’ management to provide insight, guidance, and solutions.
- Maintains human resource records and compiles reports as needed.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Responsible for onsite timecards.
- Point person for onsite functions, uniform program.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other on-site managers.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree & a minimum of three years HR experience or similar combination of education and experience.
