• Pay Range : $65,000 - $75,000 / year & Bonus Eligible

Job Summary

The Food Service Director for Mercer Community College leads the overall success of a conference hall and cafe. This position will motivate, train, and develop staff to accomplish the goals / objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the client.

Solves problems professionally, rapidly, fairly, and maintains a working relationship with the client.

Key Responsibilities :

• Food Programs
• Supervision and Development of Staff
• Financial Management and Analysis
• Catering Management
• Cafe Management

Preferred Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years food service operation supervision experience
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests, and client
• Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Catering background
• General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols, and procedures
