Occupational Therapist Full Time Days Position Summary
Organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to resort, reinforce and enhance performance.
Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment / re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning / implementation.
Provides quality occupational therapy services according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
Special Skills : Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, families and physicians.
THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Program in Occupational Therapy.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : One year of experience as an OT.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE : Licensure and Registration in Arizona. CPR Certification.

Responds to physician orders for occupational therapy. Administers and interprets tests and measurements of patients. Reviews patient charts and progress prior to treatment and modifies treatment plan accordingly.
Develops functional goals based on patient and / or family expectations. Develops, improves, or restores skills in activities of daily living, work, or productive activities.
Seeks clarification of physician orders as needed.
Education :
Required : Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy
Experience :
Preferred : 2 years as a practicing OT in a healthcare setting
Certifications :
Required : State licensure. AHA BLS.
