Institutional Credit Management (ICM) works closely with our front line businesses to serve as a critical component of our First Line of defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management and also with our Independent Risk partners to ensure best-in-class risk and controls, as well as client responsiveness.

Key responsibilities include portfolio analysis, documentation, risk identification, management, monitoring, administration, and stress testing.

In this role, the ICM Portfolio Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Portfolio Management including Early Warning Credit Management, Risk Appetite and Limits Management, Portfolio Health, Exceptions Management, and coordinate with other ICM teams, Risk Management, and business partners, and executing on the monitoring strategies and priorities, as well as contributing to the calibration of alerts, metrics and indicators for maximum efficacy.

The Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Credit Portfolio Senior Officer is a senior-level position responsible for managing the Portfolio Health Monitoring process with focus on CCR portfolio, conducting credit portfolio reviews, and monitoring the portfolio to identify credit migration and emerging risks in coordination with the Underwriting and Risk Management team.

The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement frameworks for portfolio risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance across varied Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) products and industry segments
  • Understand applicable credit policies, industry regulations and the requisite impact of those governance items to prospective new partners or product initiatives
  • Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal and external constituencies
  • Prepare risk management presentations for senior management that include analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and / or opportunity
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and / or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in Counterparty Credit Risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry
  • Treasury, Markets and / or Banking knowledge preferred
  • Experience in people management and leadership
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to view data holistically and remain detail oriented to synthesize, prioritize and deliver results with urgency
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation, facilitation, negotiation and strategic skills
  • Proven ability to obtain support and buy-in across a wide range of internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated work ethic and influencing skills

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree / University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
