Principal Technologist

Job Summary :

Infogain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Principal to lead our client account. The ideal candidate will possess a strong software engineering background, combined with business development expertise, to drive significant growth within the areas of engagement.

This individual will act as the technical visionary and strategist, ensuring alignment with client's culture and technical stack, and will be based in the Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic direction and leadership for all technical aspects of the client account, driving innovation and growth.
• Business Development : Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, leveraging a strong understanding of client's technical stack and business needs.
• Technical Excellence : Oversee the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with client's engineering standards.
• Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client, acting as the primary technical liaison.
• Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Market Insight : Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly those relevant to client's strategic goals, to maintain a competitive edge.
• Cultural Fit : Ensure all technical initiatives and team members align with client's organizational culture and values.

Requirements :

• Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven experience in business development within the technology sector.

Technical Proficiency : Deep understanding of software engineering principles, Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), modern application architecture concepts and deployment topologies

Experience in defining technology footprint for cloud transformation

Knowledge and experience of application modernization leveraging cloud native apps, re-platforming and refactoring

• Business Acumen : Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
• Location : Based in the Bay Area, with the ability to travel as needed.
• Domain expertise : Automobile industry
