This Traffic Signal Foreman Position Features :
- 401k Percentage Matching
- Paid certifications such as Crane Certification (rigging, signaling, operating), and IMSA, MOT, Traffic Signal Tech Level I, Level II, and Level III.
- Great Pay to $55K-$80K
Immediate need for Traffic Signal Foreman seeking : This position will assist the Superintended to complete projects from start to finish.
The successful candidate will be the liaison from Superintendent to crews and any contractors, subcontractors and / or site representatives.
We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience.
Compensation, Expectations, and Responsibilities
- Job Type : Full Time, Hourly Non-Exempt
- Salary : $26+ (potential yearly income $55K-$80K) depending upon experience
- MUST be able to work out-of-town and nights on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications :
- CDL A (clean driving record is required)
- Supervising Experience
- Traffic Signal Installation : 3 Years (PREFERRED)
- IMSA Certification
- Crew Management
- Crane Certification
- OSHA 10
- Commercial and Industrial Electrical Experience
- Traffic Signal Level I and / or Level II
- Journeyman Electrician
- Experience in highway lighting systems, electrical wiring systems, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and roadway signing (PREFERRED)
- Have necessary skills in understanding the plans and specifications, means and methods of construction and reporting (PREFERRED)
Primary Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Develop a working understanding of plans, specifications, and other requirements and constraints of each project, and ensure all subordinates understand their responsibilities for executing job duties.
- Supervise and manually assist subordinates and crew operations to ensure all are conducted to high standards that meet or exceed Project requirements and Client expectations.
- Oversee maintenance, care, and inventory of all equipment, including availability of supplies and parts.
- Ensure all training needs are met and current for all subordinates.
- Participate in Project start-up and progress meetings.
- Prepare all activity, safety, and progress reports.
- Report any problems to the Project Manager for resolution.
- Oversee site operations to ensure safe conditions.
Physical Demands :
Must be able to perform multiple tasks and can handle the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
