Position Overview
Our highly experienced clinicians deliver the most up-to-date, comprehensive care in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine.
Join our team of highly-collaborative, innovative critical care clinicians. The Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono ICU is a combined medical and surgical ICU with a total 24 beds.

The Critical Care team at Lehigh Valley Hospital consists of two physicians and two APC providers and we are looking to add to this team.
In a critical care ICU at LVH-Pocono, you will experience :
- 12 shifts per month of coverage.
- Typical shifts are 12 hours currently; however, the team works well together and has a lot of flexibility with the schedule and could consider 8- or 10-hour shifts.
- Providers typically work 3 or 4 days consecutively.
- Must be flexible for day vs n ight coverage.
- Providers will work day shifts initially and work closely with the physicians for training.
- Team works together to ensure even rotation of weekends and holidays.
- Providers always can pick up additional shifts for moonlighting monies.
- Call is taken by physicians only.
- Providers will take part in procedures and should have familiarity but will also be trained by the Lehigh Valley Physician team.
These procedures may include :
- Central lines
- Arterial lines
- Dialysis Lines
- Intubations

Qualifications
- Must have at least one year of experience in an intensive care unit as a clinician
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- A valid PA Medical License, or ability to obtain one, is required
