The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining all aspects of planning and scheduling efforts.
Collaborates with project teams to ensure timely development of baseline schedules, provide schedule updates, and manage implementation throughout the life cycle of various project types.
May manage more junior level staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely development of baseline schedules, provide schedule updates, and manage implementation throughout the life cycle of various project types
- Assist project teams to ensure delays are adequately documented.
- Develop contingency options with the team to accelerate schedule.
- Review contracts for specific scheduling needs and profile critical timelines to ensure project schedules show appropriate detail based upon job site requirements.
- Mentor junior Schedulers as needed.
- Some travel required
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Advanced knowledge of MS office, Adobe, Primavera P6 and scheduling software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, practices and components.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture) or equivalent experience.
- Ten (10) years of experience including four (4) years of field construction experience on large ground-up projects and a minimum of six (6) years in project scheduling.
Range of base pay is $160,000-$204,000. Actual pay is based on individual skill level and experience.
