Job Details
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Target Ratios : 1 : 6.
- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays! that travelers are only allowed to take one of the 3 major holidays off (Thanksgiving, Christmas and NYD).
- Float Requirement : Occasionally.
- Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.
- Patient Diagnoses : Surgery patients (colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedics / spine).
- Unit Systems : Pyxis, SBAR, EPIC
- Scheduling Type : Self Scheduling based on unit needs and with NM input.
- Unit Orientation : 36 hours
- Scrubs : navy blue or white
Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience : 2 Years. (accept 1.5 w / strong experience)
- Travel experience : UNIT WILL Accept 1st timer.
- Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes
- Skills : IV Start and Telemetry.
- Certs : BLS
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
Schedule Information
- 36 or 48 Hours can be offered. If Accepting 48 Hours, No OT until after 48 hours.
- 12 HR NIGHTS
- block scheduling requests will be reviewed by unit manager on a case to case basis

- AHA or American Red Cross Only. AHA-RQI and AHA instructor cards are acceptable.
- When qualifying, please access the Unit Description to review the required certifications.
- For techs, allied and non-clinical, certifications will now also appear in the UD but please reach out to your TL if these are not populating.
Continue to utilize the allied licensure report in addition to the UD for license and tech cert requirements.
