Duties

  • Provide functional management leadership for implementation of effective equipment management at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC).
  • Establish and implement protocols and processes for the maintenance of equipment records, ensuring they properly reflect the Center's and its contractor's Controlled Equipment accountability status.
  • Oversee the administration of equipment loans and property passes executed by the Center.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain a system for the receipt, inspection, and control of equipment items.
  • Develop and implement a plan and schedule to physically inventory 100% of NASA-held equipment each fiscal year.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level :

  • Managing property accountability records, to include life-cycle accountability, events, and transactions;
  • Applying supply principles, concepts, and methodologies in one or more supply specializations (inventory, packaging, storing / distributing, or cataloging) or of supply program operations;
  • Providing services and resolving issues and problems of a procedural nature in supply operations, planning, or program management.
