About The Position
Job Title : Traveler Lab TechnicianWe are seeking a meticulous Traveler Lab Technician to join our team for temporary assignments across various laboratory settings.
The lab technician will support laboratory staff by optimizing procedures and ensuring accurate, reliable test results. This role requires maintaining detailed records, adhering to safety protocols, and providing technical support when needed.
Key Responsibilities : Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples or substances using appropriate testing equipment as required.
Design and conduct laboratory tests in line with standard procedures, accurately recording observations and interpreting results.
Document all experimental data and test results in both written and electronic formats.Organize and store chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases in compliance with safety protocols.
Ensure that laboratory safety guidelines are strictly followed at all times.Maintain daily logs and laboratory equipment records, ensuring proper sterilization, calibration, and functionality of equipment.
Order and restock laboratory supplies as necessary.Provide technical support and assistance to laboratory staff when required.
Stay current with relevant scientific and technical developments in the field.Assist in maintaining and improving QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) management systems.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.Valid laboratory technician license.Proven experience as a lab technician, with experience operating various lab equipment (electrical and non-electrical).
Ability to handle potentially hazardous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.) safely and responsibly.Strong knowledge of QHSE management systems and laboratory best practices.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and laboratory database systems.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle pressure in diverse lab environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail, superb hand-eye coordination, and analytical skills.
