Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Load and unload catering orders
- Delivery, set up, serve and clean up Central market products while extending superior Customer Service
- Assist Catering department in catering sales / production when necessary.
- Adheres to traffic and Safety Laws as well as H-E-B policy. Including training and safety certification.
- Ensure vehicle is maintained, interior is clean and all compartments are food safe.
- Knowledge of office delivery dock entranced & elevators
REQUIREMENTS
- Good Driving record and a valid Class C Texas Drivers License
- No Moving violations in previous 3 years
- 21 years of age or older
- No Felony convictions ever
- No DWI convictions
- No misdemeanor drug and alcohol convictions
- No preventable accidents for the previous 3 years
- Successfully complete Catering Driver Entry Level Training
- Driver recertification every 3 years
- Participate in Annual MVR Check and Review
- Pass background screening, including an MVR
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to work in varying outdoors / indoor conditions
- Detail oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift and carry moderately heavy loads / Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs
- Bend, reach, squat
- Ability to think on your feet to satisfy the customer
- Basic food knowledge & banquet services
