Senior Accountant
5 days a week in office- North Austin
Salary : $65,000-$85,000Our client is a leading firm in their industry, committed to excellence and innovation. They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the AEC or professional services industry and will be responsible for a broad range of accounting duties for an incredible organization.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :
- Manage month-end closing along with G / L accounting and reconciliation
- Maintain fixed asset records and calculate and book depreciation
- Support annual audits, tax filings, review of financials, and overhead audit
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and utilization reports
- Support budget preparation
- Assist with state licensure, registrations, and filings
- Prepare use / sales tax filings
- Handle ad hoc projects and reports
Required Qualifications of the Senior Accountant :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of GAAP, and Federal and State tax returns and reporting for S Corporations
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 31
- Government contracting+
- Experience with project cost accounting
- Experience with Deltek Vantage Point +
