Overview
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to support the KC-46 aircraft at Nevatim Air Base, Israel. This location is 36 kilometers east of Be'er Sheva, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical guidance in the normal operation and maintenance of the KC-46
- Investigating system and sub-system issues and analyzing hardware and software issues to determine root cause
- Resolving technical issues dealing with airframe and mission systems
- Supplementing local training by providing technical guidance and informal on the job training (OJT) for aircraft and support equipment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
A current U.S. passportMinimum 3 years of experience with large aircraft / 767 maintenance or operations roleMinimum 3 years of experience / knowledge in the areas of avionics, general aircraft, and propulsionAbility to read and interpret drawings, wiring schematics, and maintenance task proceduresExperience teaching peers in a non-classroom settingWilling and able (potentially on short notice) to deploy / travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for varying deployment durations to meet customer needsWilling and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs; failure to relocate may be considered as resignationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)
Experience with KC-46 aircraft in a maintenance and / or operations roleExperience with air refueling aircraftExperience using Boeing web-based Information Systems such as My Boeing Fleet, VECTOR (technical inquiry request system), REDARS, and PSDSAvionics systems troubleshooting skillsPrevious military experience or extensive familiarity with military operation and maintenance proceduresFamiliarity using Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Part CatalogsAirframe & Powerplant (A&P) LicenseFCC Radio / Telephone Operators LicenseExperience working with non-US customersEx-Pat Information
Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the countryCandidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicableEmployment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the countryBecause the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa / work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned.
