The Store Manager is a shared leadership role responsible for overseeing essential business duties in a fast paced, complex environment, related to the day-to-day operations of the store;
specifically in the areas of sales objectives, customer service, staffing, employee relations, management, payroll and operating expenses, ensuring loss prevention, and executing merchandise presentations.
Store Manager’s utilize standard operating procedures, tools, and checklists to provide clear direction and communication among the leadership team and among team members to challenge, motivate and drive the team’s results.
This role clearly communicates all necessary business, team member, and customer updates using the communication tools available to support the shared leadership model.
The Store Manager organizes, delegates, prioritizes, meets deadlines and follow-up on all activities within the store to ensure exemplary store operations.
It is the Store Manager’s responsibility is to ensure that all company policy and procedures are understood and practiced keeping the store game day ready.
Responsibilities
- Staffing : recruiting, scheduling, leading others
- Customer service : ensures customer remains the top priority
- Delivery Results : sales forecasting, inventory control, payroll management
- Merchandising : Meets Rally House visual standards; floor moves and merchandising; organizing, game-planning and execution
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities., Detail oriented, Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic attitude, Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook., Strong merchandising and visual skills.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail; Minimum 2 years store management and coaching and developing others; Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred;
Sports enthusiast preferred.
Required to stand and walk; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls;
reach with hands and arms; differentiate colors. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
The position also requires the ability to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and ladders.
