Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Quick Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic care, with the ability to assist in surgical procedures and manage patient care collaboratively with our orthopedic surgeons.
You will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive orthopedic services, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Care & Management :
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons.
- Assist in surgical procedures, providing support in the operating room and post-operative care.
- Clinical Support :
- Perform joint injections, splinting, casting, and other orthopedic interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaboration & Communication :
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, nurses, and physical therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Maryland.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Previous experience in orthopedic or surgical settings is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
