Kureha PGA LLC located in Belle, West Virginia, has an exciting opportunity for a career in Maintenance / Reliability Engineering.
Located just 10 minutes from the Capitol city of Charleston, we produce a raw material for a revolutionary biodegradable plastic at the only plant of its kind in the world.
Our product spans multiple industries, with oil and gas being our primary customer. Kureha is an international company with 4,300 employees around the world.
Charleston is a vibrant city with nearly everything a big city offers with less traffic and affordable housing plus we host multiple cultural events, concerts, Broadway shows, sporting events, and festivals.

Here are a few responsibilities of the position.
- Assist Reliability Technicians with day-to-day troubleshooting of equipment problems as needed.
- Responsible for the technical accuracy of preventive maintenance job plans and rebuild procedures.
- Build job plans and integrate them into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Optimize maintenance task frequencies per manufacturer recommendations or plant experience.
- Monitoring and adjusting specific equipment tolerances and specifications.
- Assist third party services to monitor equipment condition through routine inspections.
Required Education / Experience : BS Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). Five years of experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability with a working knowledge of chemical process operations, plus OSHA, PSM, and maintenance engineering management.
Authorized to work in the US.
Preferred experience in the following :
- Demonstrated experience working with teams.
- Demonstrated experience in getting results, meeting commitments & problem-solving skills.
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is preferred
