Systems Administrator

Description

At Regions, the Systems Administrator maintains the integrity of the operating system environment, under direct supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs system software upgrades including planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination under direct supervision
• Performs workstation and server administration setup
• Coordinates disk space planning and management as directed
• Maintains growth statistics, space forecasts, tape libraries, and software and hardware inventories
• Performs data backups and recoveries
• Monitors system software licensing and maintenance agreements
• Maintains production change control schedule and participates in change control
• Some scripting (i.e. Powershell and Bash)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or technical training program entry level
• Or, a High School Diploma or GED with four (4) years of related experience

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of operating systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills

Experience with M365 and Microsoft Exchange preferred

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC .

Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.

As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target :

$53,829.20 USD$78,790.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans :
