Job Description

A local boutique law firm is looking to bring on a new paralegal to their team. This person will jump into an important role so candidates need to have paralegal experience. This paralegal needs to have good time management skills, be able to prioritize and multi-task, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a paralegal

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents and pleadings
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
  • Record and store client information
  • Filing and updating case management system

    • ​ Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with legal research using Lexis Nexis and Westlaw
  • Familiar with Federal and Louisiana state pleading formats
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Preferences :

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
