Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO).

Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The Kuiper team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as a Material Coordinator.
You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams.
You are a problems solver and are comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.

S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Key job responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
- Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.
- Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
- Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
- Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
- Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
- Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
- Learn new processes.
- Operate equipment including : forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
- Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.
Additional Requirements :
- Monday through Friday, estimated shift start between 1 : 00 PM and 2 : 00 PM, estimated shift end between 9 : 30 PM and 10 : 30 PM.

- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32 / hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
- 1+ year experience using Microsoft Excel to navigate and interpret data
- Able to lift up to 49 pounds
- Able to stand / walk for up to 10 hours
- Work a flexible schedule / shift / work area, including weekends, nights, and / or holidays
- Work 40 hours / week, and overtime as required
- Flexibility with daily work location as our warehouses are spread throughout the Puget Sound
