Requirements Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is looking for Locum Trauma Surgeon.Dates of Coverage : ASAP until we hire a full timerSchedule : M-F 7a-4p 3 weeknights per week 4p-7a Sat / Sun 7a-7a callReason for Coverage : Gaps while we recruit a full time surgeonPractice Setting : HospitalAverage Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day : 5Trauma Level / Designation : Level 1 TraumaAnnual ER Volume : 80KPercentage of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital : 35Total Number of Beds : 617Documentation System / EMR : EpicDescription of OR Staff : Full complimentPatient Age Demographic : Primarily Adult / Geri but occasionally child / adolescentProvider Must be Local - Only Mileage is Reimbursed Procedures Required : Trauma Cases ADULTTrauma Cases GERIATRICPENETRATING Trauma CasesBLUNT Trauma CasesChest Tube InsertionLaparoscopic Procedures Required : AppendectomyCholecystectomyEstimated Credentialing Timeframe : 30-40 days to start if all licensure is active and good standing Trinity Health does not reimburse for credentialing costs or application fees.
Schedule weekday shifts x 1 week - Mon-Fri 7 : 00-4 : 00pm, Three weekday nights Mon-Fri 4 : 00pm to next am 7am,Two weekend shifts sat or Sunday for 24 hours from 7am to next day 7am
