About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 12 Weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of experience required License : GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, NRP Must-Have : Circulate, FHM Job Description : Work in the Labor and Delivery specialty with a staffing ratio of 1 : 1-2.
- Unit accepts first-time travelers, providing an opportunity to gain valuable experience.- Participate in required call duties, with frequency varying.
- Provide weekend coverage every third weekend.- Utilize unit systems including Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR.- Scrubs are provided to ensure compliance with unit standards.
- Flexible with floating within skillset as needed.- Understand that requested time off is capped at 7 days, and blocked scheduling is not guaranteed.
- Expectation to work certain major holidays depending on assignment period.- Adhere to full compliance requirements to ensure timely start, with potential for a two-week delay if not met.
- Complete an orientation period totaling 13 hours.- Acknowledge the importance of timely submission of core items and scheduling labs to maintain an on-time start.
