Job Summary
Manages or supports assigned phases of major projects including business development support, site development, permitting support (air, water, state, local, etc.
scope development, major contract negotiations, engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, construction activities, commissioning and transition to commercial operation.
Supports development and management of specific portions of project budget and schedule. Involved in major complex projects including new generating facilities (coal, combined cycle and nuclear), environmental projects (cooling towers, wet or dry scrubbers, baghouse and SCR), nuclear modifications (reactor head or steam generator replacement) and other major complex projects exceeding $100M.
Multiple complex projects including turbine uprates. This position may have Non Dominion Energy Workers reporting to them.
Typically reports to a Director, Project Director or Manager - F&H Projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 7-8+ years of experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas.
- Skilled in developing, implementing and managing new construction and / or improvement projects that enhance the overall reliability, efficiency and safety of the plant.
- Strong team building skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to develop, manage and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
- Ability to resolve technical problems and implement changes.
- Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education :
Bachelor
Preferred Disciplines : Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Ability to obtain and maintain the Global Wind Organization (GWO) Certification
