Roles & Responsibilities :
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished products.
Use measuring tools and equipment to verify product specifications and tolerances.
Conduct quality tests according to standard operating procedures.
Document and report test results, identifying and escalating non-conformances.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection and test results.
Complete inspection reports and other documentation in compliance with quality standards.
Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
Provide input on ways to optimize inspection and testing procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Support regulatory audits and inspections as needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
Basic knowledge of quality management systems and procedures.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and make decisions based on quality criteria.
Quality inspection : 3 years (Required)
Precision measuring instruments : 3 years (Required)

Technical Certification Bonus : Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
