We are openly interviewing qualified candidates who meet all requirements set by local and state regulations. Candidates with experience working with special education students and families are highly preferred.
This district may offer renewal opportunities based on performance while on contract.
Requirements :
- Valid state certification / license as a School Psychologist
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Experience working with special education students and families
- Knowledge of local and state regulations governing school psychology services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties :
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Interpret assessment results to provide recommendations for academic interventions, accommodations, and special education services.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to support students' social-emotional development and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and make recommendations for services.
- Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding mental health concerns, learning disabilities, and behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and intervention plans.
- Stay current on best practices and research in the field of school psychology.
- Collaborate with community agencies and service providers to coordinate support services for students and families.
