Shift : Variable 8's / 10's, 40 hours per week Length : 13 WeeksRotating Schedule based on self scheduling between the hours of 0500-2100.

8 or 10 hour shifts available. Unit will work with candidates schedule. Shifts could include : 6-1800, 6-1500, 12-2100. 0900-2100 Requirements :

• NC license
• 3 years pre post cath lab - May Screen for less if traveler has sheath pull & cardiac med experience
• ACLS
• Charge Nurse and Conscious Sedation experience preferred

RTO : 7 days MAXFloat Requirement : requiredWeekend Requirement : PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Our outpatient cardiac area nurses check in and get cardiac cath patients, ep patients and radiology patients ready prior to procedure.

They start I.V.'s, sign consent with the patient, give ordered pre procedure medications as well as go through Novant's EPIC questioner.

PRE / POST Cath lab / EP / IR RN; OUTPATIENT SURGERYSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Manage cath / EP and radiology patients post procedure.

Manage access sites, both arterial and venous, both femoral and radial. This includes radial compression bands, femoral closure devices, venous sutures and pulling femoral sheaths.

Cath patients - same day discharges of patients who are post PCI, so they will need to know DTAP and post cath care in that capacity.
