Ellison 6 is a 35 bed unit with the clinical specialties of Urology, Orthopaedics, and Surgery. The orthopaedic population of patients includes total joint replacements, trauma, and orthopaedic oncology.

The orthopaedic department at MGH has one of the only specified orthopaedic oncology programs on the East Coast. The urology population is varied in acuity from stone removal to prostatectomy.

This unit also takes on Surgery overflow patients. The patient care delivery model is a patient-focused model, supported by the primary nursing team.

Patient-focused care is high quality, comprehensive, accessible, supportive and personalized care. Qualifications BSN strongly preferred.

MA RN license required. Minimum one year RN experience required. 36 hour day / evening / night rotation including weekends and holidays
