About The Position
Job Title : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Specialty : Home Health COTA Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Per contract, facility may call off up to one shift per pay period if needed Experience : 1 year of skilled home health experience required License : Pending license accepted Certifications : BCLS required Must-Have : Own transportation required Job Description : Provide occupational therapy services to patients in home health settings.
- Visit up to 6 patients per day with a standard of 30 productivity points.- Expected to float between all facilities within a given state if required.
- Participate in mandatory orientation (40 hours, non-billable) and annual module completion.- Utilize EPIC for charting.
- Wear any color scrubs as per facility guidelines.- No weekend or on-call requirements.- Locals within 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate.
- Drive within a radius occasionally reaching above 50 miles; system in place to minimize drive time.- Oasis experience preferred but not required.
- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required.- COVID-19 vaccine required; medical / religious exemptions and declinations are allowed.
- Completion time for modules is self-reported and recorded.
