About The Position
Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty : Multi-Modality Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3 : 00 PM-11 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of current CT / X-Ray experience required.
Previous travel experience required (at least 6 months or more). License : State of Massachusetts Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have : - Willingness to work two of the following holiday periods : Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year's Eve / New Year's Day and the weekend after.
- Must have own vehicle. Job Description : Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
- Provide proper client care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.- May be assigned responsibilities such as supervision or instruction of department personnel as determined by management.
- Maintain excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and text formats.- Practice infection control in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.- Demonstrate proper operation and troubleshooting of CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
- Complete annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.- Maintain department competencies as required.
- Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.- Candidates with Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness to consider other duties during low census, within the scope of practice.Thank you for considering this position.
