Summary :
Provides Occupational Therapy Services to patientsreferred, including assessment, treatment plan development andimplementation with the follow-up and discharge planning.
Activelyassists with clinical aspects of the department, including programdevelopment, department operations and Performance Improvementactivities.
Assists with supervising and coordinating theOccupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Studentprograms. In addition, supervises Certified Occupational TherapyAssistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers.
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels (CSRH-NB),nestled in the heart of downtown New Braunfels, is a full-service,94-private bed facility that continues to expand to meet the needsof New Braunfels’ strong population growth.
Innovative equipmentand procedures are utilized, including an Outpatient ImagingCenter, orthopedic and surgical services, rehabilitation, arenovated birthing center, including 24 / 7 neonatal coverage,emergency care, wound care / hyperbaric center, 3D mammography, andcomprehensive heart care, from diagnostics to open-heartsurgery.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral degree from anaccredited college or university in the area of OccupationalTherapy is required.
- All modalities / equipmentused by an Occupational Therapy Assistant as outlined by the TexasExecutive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational TherapyExaminers.
- Licensed as an OccupationalTherapist by the State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners ofTexas.
- BLS certification isrequired.
- Must also successfully complete thepre-employment / post job offer health screening examination and theannual screening, each year thereafter as anemployee.
