Job Description -

• 10+ years of experience delivering data and data analytics solutions in Azure Ecosystem
• 10+ years of experience in building OLTP and OLAP database models
• Strong work experience as a Data Modeler working in Azure Ecosystem.
• Expertise in Ralph Kimball / Inmon Dimensional Data Modeling, Star schema, Snow-Flake schema, creation of Fact and Dimension Tables, OLAP, OLTP and thorough understanding of Data-Warehousing concepts.
• Good experience of implementing Enterprise data models on a Data Medallion architecture
• Experienced in performing customer-facing roles
• Good communication and presentation skills and ability to understand the business priorities and how Technology can support these initiatives.
• Understanding of the Agile based development and execution approach
• Well versed with data consumption design patterns like semantic layers, visualizations, ML models, Data Medallion and Data-mesh architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define, review and document data modeling and design standards
• Experienced in gathering requirements from Business users for creating and modifying existing Data marts and Reports for various Projects and Departments.
• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather the required information, understand the client expectations, get clarity through workshops, suggest / deliberate on the right data models that meet business requirements.
• Ability to write complex SQL statements to validate data profiling and transformations.
• Provide subject matter as a Data Modeler to resolve and address business issues and priorities
• Designing enterprise data models on cloud (Azure) including services like ETL pipelines, ADF, Synapse etc.
