About The Position
Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year required License : OR license required, can submit with it pending Certifications : EPIC experience required Must-Have : - COVID-19 Vaccine : Required - Medical / Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed - References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Job Description : - Perform echocardiography duties, specializing in cardiac sonography.
- Handle expected ratios of 8 outpatients per 10-hour shift. - Complete orientation with 40 hours provided (non-billable).
- Modules to be completed pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent. - Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby;
refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and / or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. - Will not be required to float between units.
- No on-call, weekend, or unknown block schedules required. - Communicate effectively with team and patients. - Be familiar with and perform charting using Epic.
- Scrubs in any color; OR / Cath Lab scrubs provided. Note : Flu Vaccine requirement is unknown. Special Requirements : Must commit to working 3 out of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
