We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Construction Scheduler to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex, high-profile construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing project schedules for each construction project, ensuring that all deadlines and milestones are met.
This role requires a deep understanding of construction and scheduling best practices, excellent resource management skills, and a strong background in construction engineering.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for new and ongoing projects, including resources, costs, and task durations, using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to understand project details and requirements.
- Monitor project progress, compare it against the baseline schedule, and report any discrepancies or delays to the project manager.
- Perform risk analysis for construction schedules and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure the schedule aligns with the on-ground work and progress.
- Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to gather all data necessary to maintain an accurate and up-to-date project schedule.
- Provide regular reports to project managers and stakeholders on the status of the project schedule.
- Assist in the strategic planning phase of upcoming projects.
- Implement scheduling best practices and standards across all projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in construction scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must.
- Strong knowledge of construction and scheduling best practices.
- Proven experience in resource management and construction engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong understanding of construction operations and processes.
- Familiarity with construction and project management software is a plus.
