GEMCO Medical , a well-established and growing healthcare distribution company shipping over 15,000 packages a day with detailed accuracy, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Warehouse Associates whose function includes shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance services.
- The warehouse is fully air conditioned in summer, heated in the winter.
- Clean environment : not dusty, dark, or dirty.
- No protective clothing required. Dress code is comfortable clothing (sneakers, t-shirts, jeans, etc. all acceptable)
- Full-time schedule available is Monday through Friday; 12 : 15 p.m. - 9 : 00 p.m. (with shift differential).

Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
- Package and ship orders in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods and practices
- Unload, sort, count, package, and label inventory that is received
- Operate distribution center equipment including forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Utilize WMS RF scanner for various distribution center activities
Core Competencies
- Ability to stand, walk, for entire shift
- Lift minimum of 50 pounds (occasionally)
Education / Experience
- Previous forklift certification is preferred.
- Attention to detail
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
