The Security Administrator will provide support to sponsor operations in a dynamic and exciting environment. The candidate will interface with both customer and contract personnel, requiring this person to be professional and display a high level of personal integrity and ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal, and classified information.
Core responsibilities of the position include :
- Assist in developing and documenting program security processes.
- Assist in developing and maintain security manuals, program security plans, and briefings for various compartments and sub-compartments.
- Assist in developing responses to programmatic security questions; and coordination / facilitation of classification reviews with appropriate experts or stakeholders.
- Brief all levels of personnel, both in Government as well as industry, on a variety of administrative security related topics.
- Brief and debrief program and contractor personnel into / out of compartmented programs.
- Ensure accurate personnel data is documented / represented in sponsors system(s) of record.
- Verify, pass, and receive clearances and support various data calls regarding clearances.
- Coordinate security requirements for visits to / from sponsor, other government agency, and other contractor facilities, such as clearance verification;
handling of classified materials; notifying Area Security Officers and / or appropriate POC of laptop or other devises : etc..
- Provide security indoctrinations and assist in security education activities to include briefing at sponsor's security orientation programs.
- Assist in the annual DNI Control Access Program Oversight Committee (CAPOC) reporting.
- Provide administration support to program security team to include ad-hoc and special project coordination.
- Support Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) access (e.g. add / delete users) and provide training on open / close process for personnel.
Required experience :
- Minimum 5 years' experience performing full range of administrative support functions.
- HS diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of utilizing the full complement of MS Office tools
- Experience with data entry
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance and in small dynamic teams often under time-constraints
- US government issued TS / SCI security clearance with Polygraph required at time of application
