Mercy University invites nominations and applications for nine-month faculty positions in the nursing program. This is an opportunity to join an engaged team of professional and dedicated colleagues in a CCNE-accredited program that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees.

We welcome dynamic educators to our team who want to make a difference in students’ lives and in their profession. For the undergraduate program the positions include teaching a variety of nursing courses, with particular needs in medical-surgical, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.

Undergraduate programs are on the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses. Responsibilities include teaching with an emphasis on high impact teaching practices and active learning.

Mercy University is a nonsectarian, nonprofit New York metropolitan area institution offering over 90 undergraduate and graduate programs.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience :

At least 3 years’ experience in an academic setting preferred.

Education Requirements :

Education MS in Nursing (required). DNP, PhD, or EdD preferred.

Physical / Other Requirements :

• Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per college policies

Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.
