ESTIMATING TEAM LEAD

Key Responsibilities :
Inspire and Lead : Take charge of our talented team of six estimators, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and excellence.
You'll set the tone and direction, ensuring the team stays on schedule and delivers top-notch results.
Innovate and Implement : Develop and implement cutting-edge systems to streamline our estimating processes. As we expand, your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team through new methodologies that enhance productivity and accuracy.
Mentor and Train : Empower your team by training them in the latest best practices. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the demands of a fast-paced schedule, consistently delivering high-quality work, and leading by example.
Recruit and Integrate : Attract and onboard new talent, seamlessly integrating them into our existing systems and procedures.
Your guidance will help new hires quickly adapt and thrive within our dynamic environment.
Lead by Example : Roll up your sleeves and dive into the estimating process alongside your team. Your hands-on approach and commitment to excellence will inspire others to follow suit.
Commitment to Excellence : Embody a 'first one in, last one out' mentality, demonstrating your dedication to the team's success and setting a high standard for work ethic and commitment.
Strategic Reporting : Provide weekly updates to the MN President and CEO, tracking our estimating backlog, analyzing win / loss trends, and collaborating with the sales management team to refine our strategies.
Preferred Experience :
- 3+ years in an Estimator role
- Exterior remodeling estimating experience
- Microsoft Stack
- PlainSwift
- Xactimate
