The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.
The Registered Nurse will care for patients with wounds that are greater than 30 days old and are not healing properly. You will act as a direct care professional with regard to wound care patients and will perform intakes (initial assessments, charting) and discharges (instructions, dressings) as well as function in a case management role.
Your exceptional skills and qualificationsDemonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health NetworkDemonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resourcesGraduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)2 + years as an acute care RNWound care experience is highly preferred.
