Overview

Licensed Project Geologist — Job ID : 82364 — El Dorado Hills, California. Our client has an opening for a Project Geologist. They are a full service geotechnical consulting firm providing services for earthwork construction material testing, geotechnical engineering and design, and environmental geology. This position is 100% located at their office in El Dorado Hills and is not a hybrid or remote position.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Geology / Earth Science
• Strong technical writing skills
• Professional Geologist (PG) license required with desire to obtain Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) license
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and written / verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to perform subsurface investigations and field work as required
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
• HAZWOPER 40-Hour certified or ability to obtain certification
• Support of geotechnical engineering services
• Ability to learn detailed Federal, State, and local regulations / codes
• Ability to walk long distances for extended periods (i.e., geologic mapping)
• Good field rock identification skills
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work and budgets for new projects
• Prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Environmental Site Assessment Reports, manage environmental remediaon projects
• Willingness to learn advanced environmental geology, rock mechanics, hydrogeology, geological hazards assessments, and more
• Must have a valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Geology / Earth Science

Salary

Salary / Rate Range : $90,000 – $110,000
