SGA Lists, LLC is a hospitality-focused staffing group based in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are seeking FSW workers to join our team in Albany, NY, and help support our clients by providing excellent service to guests.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude towards serving guests and co-workers. This position begins January 17th.
FSW Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team and contribute to the seamless operation of the food service establishment.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting in the preparation and distribution of food and beverages.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare a variety of food and beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Handle food safely and hygienically, following all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, coffee machines, and microwaves.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure that food presentation is appealing and meets established standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of serving stations, buffets, and dining areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and providing change.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive and cooperative work environment.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.
- Adhere to established opening and closing procedures, ensuring the establishment is ready for business.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on food safety practices.
- Adapt to varying work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals.
