A day in the life of an Environmental Aide Team Lead at Hackensack Meridian Health includes :

Monitors that staff sign both manually and electronically into the logs at appropriate times. Monitors and observes staff performance on tasks and reports results to management.

Liaison between Hospitality and department floors. Constantly maintains contact with the Call center to resolve urgent issues in areas around the facility (pager & phone). Follows up with appropriate department and Hospitality management to ensure satisfied completion.

Must maintain the log for at least one of the following : projects, supplies, and OR Terminal Cleaning.

May perform a variety of housekeeping tasks : Including confidentials emptying and trash; Sweeping, Mopping; Changing curtains, Discharge Cleaning.

Other duties and / or projects as assigned.

Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and / or GED equivalent programs or related work experience.

Previous housekeeping experience in a commercial or hospital environment.

Knowledge of housekeeping floor care and assorted cleaning equipment.

Compensation : Minimum rate of $17.32 Hourly HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
