About the Role :

Hood Container Corporation (HCC) is in search of a detail-oriented and customer-focused Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

This role plays a pivotal part in providing unparalleled customer and sales support, overseeing orders from design conception through billing, and ensuring the seamless acquisition of essential tools for orders.

The ideal candidate will exhibit proficiency in the corrugated industry, Excel, Outlook, and Word, with a strong emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction while achieving production and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage with customers through calls and emails, adeptly resolving issues and emergencies.
• Validate delivery dates, proactively managing any deviations.
• Prepare and provide formal quotes or re-quotes as required.
• Coordinate the procurement of ink matches for new colors, ensuring customer approval.
• Facilitate the acquisition of all necessary tooling for jobs, selecting optimal vendors for our plant and customers.
• Organize and conduct preproduction meetings for new display projects.
• Input new or repeat orders into Amtech and distribute requisite copies to the plant.
• Initiate all external purchase orders essential for project completion.
• Collaborate with Production Support on kitting or packing needs, supplying comprehensive order information.
• Monitor production progress and communicate status updates to customers promptly.
• Offer support to sales representatives as needed.
• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies.
• Report non-conformances and issue RGA’s for necessary credits.
• Maintain accurate price files, specifications, etc., within the Amtech system.

Minimum Requirements :

• Must have 2+ years experience in the corrugated industry.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Requirements :

Familiarity with Amtech and Sharepoint software.
