Position Summary

The Front of House Manager is responsible for managing all Front of House operations and the Historic Landmark Tour operations.
This role will ensure a high caliber guest experience for all Theatre guests, will address, document, and resolve all guest concerns and emergency situations, and will manage, mentor, and support the Front of House team.
This position supervises up to 75+ part-time staff per season.
This is a full-time, at-will, exempt position located in Chicago.
Salary range : $55-65k annually.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Knowledge and 8+ years of experience with front of house operations and practices within a large Theatre environment
- Solid working knowledge of Tessitura, AXS,and Ticketmaster ticketing software
- Supervision and management of large diverse staff
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and Holiday hours
- Proven team building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Highly computer literate
- Independent problem solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, high energy, artistic environment
- Strong spirit of optimism and collaboration.
