Our center in Missouri City, TX is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a member on our clinical team, you'll provide evaluations and treatment to assigned clients, and help clients reach maximum performance level and to use skills learned to the fullest to function in the community within the limits of their capabilities.

Requirements :

  • You have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a Texas state license in good standing.
  • You are eager to work with pediatric clients and to design and administer treatment programs to increase clients' levels of functioning in ADLs, daily routines, and age-appropriate occupations including play and feeding.

Your role as an Occupational Therapist :

Our interdisciplinary approach means that you will collaborate with other Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

As a member of our team, you will :

Design and administer treatment programs to increase clients' levels of functioning in ADLs, daily routines, and age-appropriate occupations including play and feeding.

Make appropriate cross referrals to other disciplines as needed

Provide activities to assess and address client's executive functioning skills, attention, and coordination (fine and gross-motor)

Design home programs and instructs clients and families in carrying out such programs.

Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care

Keep detailed records of progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
