Medical Assistant Administrative Duties :
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Updating and maintaining medical records .
- Handling billing and coding for insurance purposes.
- Answering phones and managing correspondence.
Clinical Duties :
- Taking patient histories and vital signs.
- Assisting with physical exams and minor surgical procedures.
- Drawing blood and performing basic laboratory tests.
- Administering medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a physician.
- Preparing examination rooms and sterilizing medical instruments.
Hard Skills
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- EMR (Epic)
- Minimum of 1 year of RECENT experience as a medical assistant
Work Environment
1st Shift openings available! Monday - Friday!
