Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair activities with supervisory and management personnel.
- Perform assigned equipment and facility PM (Preventative Maintenance) procedures.
- Communicate equipment status and issues effectively with management personnel.
- Train less-experienced maintenance personnel in effective equipment troubleshooting and areas of expertise.
- Maintain accurate equipment repair records.
- Manage critical equipment spare parts inventory, including generating purchase requisitions.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance tasks such as painting, snow removal, and lawn care.

- Perform basic plumbing and repairs of both threaded and soldered piping systems.
- Fabricate and repair metal tables, fixtures, and stands using MIG and stick welding techniques.
- Carry out basic machining tasks using the mill, lathe, drill press, and surface grinders.
- Operate all department equipment safely and maintain it in a clean and reliable condition.
- Collaborate with other employees to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities with supervisory and management personnel.
- Proficiency in low voltage wiring projects (
- Basic plumbing skills, including repairs of threaded and soldered piping systems.
- Experience with metal fabrication and repair using MIG and stick welding techniques.
- Basic machining skills using equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, and surface grinders.
