What we require for the Senior Low Voltage Technician / Security Technician :

• Motivation and reliability!
• A professional image and solid organizational skills
• Experience with a strong desire to learn
• Minimum 5 years installing and servicing IP Surveillance Camera & NVR Solutions
• Solid skills in configuring and troubleshooting IP networks
• Excellence at working independently or as a member of a team
• Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematic drawings
• Occasional overnight travel
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and at elevated heights
• Capacity to work rotating on-call for emergencies
• Ability to carry up to 75 lbs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong skills working with both hand and power tools
• Valid IL Driver’s License and clean driving record
• IDFPR PERC Card or ability to obtain and maintain
• Ability to pass detailed background and drug screenings

Strongly Desired

• Associate degree
• Current IP surveillance certification from Axis Communications, Milestone Systems, Genetec, Avigilon, or similar
• Current physical access control certification from Keyscan, Assa Abloy, Open Options, Lenel, or similar
• Experience terminating fiber optic and twisted pair cabling
