Call Center Representative (healthcare)

Our client is a leading healthcare company in need of skilled and experienced Call Center Representatives in San Diego, CA! This position is fully onsite.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of call center experience handling high volume inbound calls, navigating computer applications, performing data entry, and scheduling appointments or resolving customer issues.

This is a 6-month assignment, with potential to extend based on performance and attendance.

Salary : $23 - $24 per hour

Shift : First

Work Hours : 8 AM - 5 PM

Education : High School

Responsibilities :

• Handle high volume incoming calls from members.
• Create messages (capture full information from the caller).
• Scheduling / Appointment Scheduling in EPIC (healthconnect).
• Research member / patient information.
• Research provider information for the caller.

Skills Required :

• Operating multi-line phone systems
• Typing : minimum 40wpm required
• Call center experience preferred
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Office setting experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology desired
