Job Assignment :
We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team. The idea candidate will have a proven track record in managing residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Management :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction to project closeout.
Team Leadership :
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Budget and Cost Control :
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
- Identify and manage potential cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures.
Quality Assurance :
- Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Client Relations :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing regular project updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Risk Management :
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in construction management
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on 2+ ground up residential construction projects
- Strong organizational, time management and project management skills to effectively track, report and manage multiple projects and priorities where meeting deadlines are critical.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively and work in a team environment with a wide variety of people, including owners, architects, subcontractors and business leaders.
- Construction estimating a plus
